Lenovo A6000 Launched In Hopes To Rule The Roost By Beating Xiaomi And Micromax

Lenovo has finally rolled up its sleeves and entered the battlefield as it hopes to silence the crowds demanding more features for less price. With the all new Lenovo A6000 smartphone, the company hopes to take on the likes of Chinese brand Xiaomi and Indian manufacturer Micromax. Launched at CES 2015, the Lenovo A6000 smartphone was previously present as Lenovo K3 in China and this is just an international variant of the same. Lenovo has tied up with exclusively with Indian e-commerce portal Flipkart to launch the phone in India later this month. The company has promised that the phone should arrive in the country priced lower than Rs. 10,000 (which is believable because the phone will be sold internationally at $169 or ~Rs.10,680.

Wrapped inside a 8.2 mm body, the Lenovo A6000 features a 5 inch screen with 1280×720 pixel resolution HD IPS display. Running on the engine of 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 64-bit capability and Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Vibe UI 2.0 atop it, the smartphone packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. On the rear a 8 megapixel camera with LED flash is located, whereas on the front there's a 2 megapixel snapper. A 2,300 mAh battery provides the phone with the juice to keep it running for about 13 hours on talktime and up to 11 days on standby mode. On the connectivity options list, we find Dual SIM cards support, LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Apart from these basic features, the phone comes with twin-speakers coupled with Dolby Digital Plus technology and preloaded Guvera music app.

    Every mobile am seeing eagerly after seeing the mobile am get disappointment because 1GB RAM only they are providing.Why they are not providing 2GB RAM.Even ASUS ZENFONE providing 2GB RAM at 10k budjet.

The only explanation I can think of is that all these companies planned the manufacturing of these smartphones a couple of years ago and all of them entered production around the same time. So now although they are all saying that this phone is competing with that phone, it's all the same phones with the same specs and even the same price tags. Who are they fooling?
