Gigabyte X11 @ 975g Is The Lightest 11.6'' Carbon Fiber Notebook On Earth

Gigabyte X11, the 11.6'' Notebook has been launched as the world's lightest laptop by weighing just 975 g with a durable carbon-fibre body. Gigabyte also claims that carbon notebooks are 6 times stronger than aluminum notebooks. Fresh from production line, the X11 is made from the diamond weaving technique with careful application of transparent or black paint coating. Gigabyte has given the X11 the power of 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors, Windows® 7 Home Premium or Professional, 128GB SSD, USB3.0 and Bluetooth4.0. X11 sports a 16:9 HD screen with LED backlight.

We at CrazyEngineers are a fan of the superlatives, but at the same time we appreciate an eye for design details. The R&D folks at Gigabyte have taken interest in the exhausts of super cars and so, they have given the X11 a dual air vent design. With Intel® Rapid Start Technology, Intel® Anti-Theft Technology and The Smart Recovery, X11 looks ready-to-use for consumers. There's no information on availability, but prices might range something from $999 to $1299.
