    One reason of a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Captcha</a>is to stop computer bots from signing up automatically.

    verification code is required as come computer programs may automatically sign in and may also create new accounts. programs not able to read these codes. got it!

    Yes, Computer Bots are just computer programs.
