The Australian High Speed Vehicle (A-HSV) Concept By HASSELL

The design studio HASSELL has come up with a sleek train concept, inspired by the hard styling of the iconic 1960s Australian HK Monaro coupe. This A-HSV is a response to the Australia’s debate on ecological, economical and social issues. This train is designed to reduce the travel by air and private vehicles and in the process reduce the CO2 emission. They claim the air transport to give out 17 kg CO2 per 100 passenger km, private transport gives out 14 kg CO2 per 100 passenger km, while theirs gives out only 4kg CO2 per 100 passenger km.

It provides shorter travel times between cities by traveling at a speed of 400km per hour and reduces transport related congestion within the cities. It also opens up housing choice and increases national productivity. It will be a safe mode of travel between the Australian capital as well as regional cities

The Double Decker train has a spacious airy modern traveler seating and also has private quarters for meetings, luxurious dining and also a convenience store which will allow the passengers to use the time to dine or do their daily shopping and thus provides an innovative perception in the way Australians travel.
