Dell QWERTY 7" Tablet Leaked! Features Slide-Out, Split Keyboard

Dell knows how to design and they've proven it with their ADAMO designs. Long ago, Dell dropped hints that they'll bring something innovative to the tablet designs. While the Streak wasn't very well received by the technical community, the product did sell well. Now, Dell's super-secret 7" slide-out, full-QWERTY keyboard tablet has been leaked by #-Link-Snipped-#. We fully agree that the design is entirely new and is refreshing after looking at hundreds of tablets that look more or less like the Apple iPad.

First things first - the tablet has a sliding keyboard. The design of the keyboard seems to be inspired from the recent split keyboards that were shown during the iOS 5 introduction recently. The split keyboard offers an added advantage that you can type with your thumbs while holding the tablet. It's important to note that Windows 8 too will have a split-keyboard option inbuilt for the touch-screen devices. In addition, there is a camera on the rear and the tech-specs of the tablet are not known yet.
This is a leaked product but it seems that it's the final version that will make an entry into the markets. Dell is clearly trying to bridge the gap between touch-screen haters and tablet lovers by offering the best of both worlds. We do not know whether putting their logo in between the keys of the split keyboard was a nice decision, it could have been used for something more innovative for sure. What's your take on the design?
