·[FONT=&quot]Use of mechano sets and Lego sets is prohibited. The use of readymade gear assemblies and manufactured assemblies is not allowed.[/FONT]
·[FONT=&quot]At no point during the race should the connecting wires be taut. Failure to observe this constraint will lead to disqualification.[/FONT]
·[FONT=&quot]The participants are requested to bring their own power supplies and related equipments. They will be responsible for their own equipment.[/FONT]
·[FONT=&quot]The judges’ decision shall be final and binding.[/FONT]

·All the teams participating in the competition has to register their names before the start of the game.
·the team should not consist of more than 4 members.
·Any team that is not ready at the time specified will be scratched from the competition automatically.
·The machine would be checked for its dimensions before the start of the game.

ROBOTICS

·Participants are allowed to make wired or wireless controlled robots.
·The dimensions of the robot should not exceed 9 x 9 inches. Failure in this regard will lead to disqualification.
·A single controller will control the same robot throughout the event (may be different for other event). Swapping of robot or controller is not allowed.

DESCRIPTION OF DIFFERENT GAMES:
1.DUM HAI TO AAJA
Lift a brick soaked in water with two fingers, thumb and ring finger. Time will be calculated for which the brick can be held with hand held at shoulder level.

2.THANDA THANDA COOL COOL:
Bucket is filled with ice. Coins of value rupee one and two will be kept inside the bucket.
Contestant has to remove all the one rupee coins placed in the bucket within 20 seconds.

3.NIGAHE NISHANAIN PE :
Arrow must hit the bull’s eye on the dart board in 3 chances out of 5.

4.JUMPING JACK
An apple will be hanged above the contestant which he/she has to eat with his/her hands tied behind and jump to eat it within the given time period.

5.TOUCH ME NOT.
Carry the loop along the wire from one end to other without touching the wire. Only one hand can be used. No support can be taken.

6.CATCH ME IF U CAN!!!
It consists of 2 participants both will be standing down. One will be blindfolded and will be given a bucket. A ball will be thrown from 1st floor which should be caught by the blindfolded person. The other participant will be giving directions to catch the ball. The task is to catch a specified number of balls in a given time period.

·You get 5 points for completing each task.
·Collect 30 points and get 50 Rs back.
·One game can’t be played more than once except bricks game but with increased difficulty and seconds.

Participation:Max 4 Participants
Rules:
·Participants are allowed to make wired or wireless controlled robots.
·The dimensions of the robot should not exceed 10 x 10 inches. Failure in this regard will lead to disqualification.
·A single controller will control the same robot throughout the event (may be different for other event). Swapping of robot or controller is not allowed.
·Disassembly or breaking off of any part resulting in debris on the track will lead to disqualification of the machine. The decision regarding this will be at the sole discretion of the organizers.
·Use of mechano sets and Lego sets is prohibited. The use of readymade gear assemblies and manufactured assemblies is not allowed.
·At no point during the race should the connecting wires be taut. Failure to observe this constraint will lead to disqualification.
·The Event Heads decision shall be final and binding.
·Event Heads reserve a right to call a retry depending on the merit of the situation.
·Rules and regulations are subject to minor changes. Track details are subject to minor changes

Rules:
1.A team of 2 players out of which 1 serves as the main player and the other as the optional one.
2.Quiz is based on the subjects in FE i.e 10/12 and the team encounters 1 question in the subject option he chooses.
3.If the main player is stuck ,he has three options:
a.Optional Player: He has to give the same answer as his teammate or give the correct answer.
b.Options: The team will be provided with 5 options to choose the correct answer from.
c.Skip the Question: The question is skipped and the next one will be asked from the same subject.
d.Each option can be used only once in the game.

4. 5 points for correct answer without options.
·4 points if they use option 3.a
·3 points if they use option 3.b
·2 points if they use option 3.c

5.-1 for giving the wrong answer.

6.Cheating in any form leads to elimination of the team.

1st round: Some technical question to be solved on the paper.

2nd round: One question will be given and members have to sole that question on the Paper and then implement the circuit on the bread board and answer the Questions asked by the examiner.

3rd round: A circuit will be given to the members. They have to implement the circuit. On the breadboard on then explain it to the examiner and answer the Questions asked to them during explanation.

[FONT=&quot]This event is roughly based on the hit reality show “THE AMAZING RACE” but with a touch of mechanical engineering to it.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Team size[/FONT][FONT=&quot]:[/FONT][FONT=&quot] 2 participants per team.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Time period for the event[/FONT][FONT=&quot]:[/FONT][FONT=&quot] The event would be completed in about 3-4 hours.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The event would be held in the college building, college campus as well as the junior college and poly technique college area.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Basic idea[/FONT][FONT=&quot]:[/FONT]

·The event requires the teams to hunt for clues in the college area.
·These clues lead to many other clues.
·The team that collects all the clues and reaches the last stage at the earliest will be declared as the winner.
·Some of the clues will have to be obtained by performing certain tasks.
·Here lies the mechanical engineering touch to the event. The tasks will be performed in the college workshop wherein the tasks can be any of the workshop jobs.
·The teams may also be required to answer certain questionnaires on their way to get to the next clue.

[FONT=&quot]General rules:[/FONT]

·Teams should be present at the starting point at the time specified for the event. Teams arriving late will be immediately disqualified.
·Teams arriving at the last stop should preserve all the clues with them. Even if a single clue is lost, the team will be disqualified.
·In case the number of teams participating in the event exceeds the number of vices available in the workshop, some of the teams would be eliminated at some stages of the event on first come first serve basis.
·The teams cannot skip any clue or any task. If a team does so, that team would be immediately disqualified.

Judges decision shall be final and binding on all.

General Rules:

·Each team can make 1 to 2 models of their aircrafts.
·Distance covered will be the criteria to win and not the floating time in air.
·Materials like cardboard, glue, scissors etc. will be provided.
·Three trials will be given in the first round i.e. qualifying round.
·Obstacles will be provided from 2nd round.
Once a model is tested, participants are not allowed to make any changes in it.
Judges decision shall be final and binding on all. The organizers reserve all rights to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules will be highlighted at the time of the event.

·MCQ’s – 20 questions to be solved in 20 mins.
·Each question carries 1 mark i.e. 1 mark for each correct attempt.
·There will be negative marking i.e. -1/2 for each wrong answer.
·Top 10 scorer teams will advance to Round 2.
·In case if there is a tie for 10th position, it will be solved by a tie breaker.
Round 2:

·Each question carries 2 marks i.e. 2 marks for each correct attempt.
·-1 mark for each wrong answer.
·Top 5 scorer teams will advance to Round 3.

·5 marks for each correct attempt.

Winner of the tie breaker will be decided on the basis of maximum marks scored and the minimum time taken to do so.

The event will be held on all three days of the festival. Interested teams may complete their tasks as and when they find suitable time.

General Rules:
·Make a structure such that balloon can be placed inside the structure.
·The structure consisting of sticks must have limited number of pins stuck on it.
·They may be filled with water or air depending on the situation.
·The pins should not be in the plane of sides of structure; it should be pointing inwards, towards the balloon.
·The structure will be thrown from different heights.
·Dimensions for the structure will be provided on the spot.

Time Duration: 2 hours
Materials provided:
Candy sticks, glue, thread and blade

“SILK ROUTE” was the trade carried on between the Asiatic countries and the rest of the world which suffered due to raids and unpredictable weather damages. If such conditions prevail during the event, care will be taken to minimize the effect but it shall not be the responsibility of the event organizers.
Description:
·Two nylon ropes will be placed parallel to each other at one span distance (approx 16cm)
·Build up a platform which could be easily mounted on the ropes and carry a mug completely filled with water.
·A rope with hook will be provided to pull the base upwards (a slope of undefined height may be given)
General Rules:
·The base should not be locked on the ropes but can be clamped.
·There should be easy availability of space to mount the jar on the base.
·The jar can be supported from five sides except from the top.
·Stones can be placed to balance the base but no other extra material can be used.
·Breaking of rules will induce penalty which will be deduction of water carried by a certain amount.

another is like i gave word cast and person add some thing before or after and make another word .. like broadcast and searc and minimum result should come,,,

no modification and advace search ..

Events like LED designing and E-Junk are very innovative. Can you please guide me with the junk which the participants must be provided with and the targeted project that they should be making.

Please also suggest some other events based on core Electricals which can be feasible in thin budgets.
