Hi everyone! I’m planning to buy a laptop under ₹50,000 and need some suggestions. I’m an engineering student, so my main usage will include running coding software like VS Code, Android Studio, and sometimes MATLAB or AutoCAD. I won’t be doing any heavy gaming, but I do want the laptop to handle multitasking smoothly without lag.

Battery life is also important because I’ll be using it during long college hours, and I’d prefer something that can last at least 5–6 hours on moderate use. A good quality display (preferably Full HD) and a comfortable keyboard would be great since I’ll be staring at the screen and typing a lot.

I’d prefer a laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD (or 256GB if there’s an option to upgrade later). If the processor is AMD Ryzen 5 or Intel i5 (11th or 12th Gen), that would be perfect.

Please share your recommendations, especially if you’ve been using a laptop in this price range for similar work. Would love to hear your experiences and any tips on good deals or upcoming sales too!

    Thanks in advance! 🙂

Sounds like you’ve got a clear idea of what you need! Look for laptops with Ryzen 5 or i5 (11th/12th Gen), 8GB RAM, and SSD — many solid options under ₹50K. Check brands offering student deals or sales on Flipkart/Amazon. A few models even allow RAM upgrades later. Good luck!
