Who we are

CrazyEngineers is run by CrazyEngineers Technologies Private Limited (CIN U72900MH2009PTC197487), registered at B-402, J P Chambers, Madhav Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440010, India. “We” and “us” in these terms mean the company. “You” means anyone who visits or uses the site.

Your account

  • One person, one account. Accounts are personal. Don’t share yours, sell it or create accounts for other people. Don’t create extra accounts to get around a ban or limit.
  • Keep your login safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Use a strong password and tell us right away at admin@crazyengineers.com if you think someone else has used it.
  • Be accurate. Give us true details, and keep your email address up to date so you get account notices.
  • Age. You must be at least 13, or 16 where local law sets a higher age. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.

What you post

  • You own it. Your posts, replies, uploads and messages stay yours.
  • You give us a licence to show it. When you post, you give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, copy, format and share it on CrazyEngineers and in places that link to it, such as search results, email notifications and social previews. This licence lasts while the content is on the site, and for published posts that stay after an account is deleted.
  • You’re responsible for it. Only post things you have the right to share. Don’t post other people’s work, private information or anything that breaks the law or our community guidelines.
  • Advice is from members. Answers and advice on CrazyEngineers come from members, not from us. Check anything important, especially safety, engineering, legal or financial advice, before you rely on it.

What’s not allowed

  • Spam, including repeated promotion, unwanted messages and link dropping.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech or bullying.
  • Illegal content, including pirated material, malware and anything that infringes someone’s rights.
  • Pretending to be another person or organisation, or misleading people about who you are.
  • Scraping or bulk-collecting content or member data with bots or scripts, without our written permission.
  • Breaking or overloading the site: hacking, probing for weaknesses, getting around security or limits, or interfering with other people’s use.

Our community guidelines explain these rules in more detail.

When rules are broken

We and our moderators can remove or hide content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the community guidelines. We’ll usually explain why, unless doing so would put someone at risk or help a spammer. If you think we got it wrong, email admin@crazyengineers.com and we’ll take another look.

You can stop using CrazyEngineers and delete your account at any time from your account settings.

The site “as is”

We work hard to keep CrazyEngineers useful and online, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or that content on it is accurate. We may change, pause or stop features at any time.

Limits of our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, lost data, lost profits, or anything that results from content posted by members or from sites we link to. CrazyEngineers is free to use, so our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹5,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

If your content or your use of the site breaks these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to sort it out together.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. For important changes, we’ll let members know by email or a notice on the site before they take effect. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new terms.

Our privacy policy and cookie policy explain how we handle your data.
