What’s welcome

• Questions of every level. Everyone started somewhere.
• Helpful, specific answers. Explain your thinking and share sources where you can.
• Your projects, ideas, experiments and lessons learned, including what didn’t work.
• Honest career advice, reviews and experiences.
• Respectful disagreement. Argue with the idea, not the person.
• Clear titles and the right channel, so others can find your post later.

What gets removed

• Spam: ads, repeated self-promotion, link dropping, SEO posts, and copy-pasted or AI-generated filler that adds nothing.
• Harassment: insults, threats, bullying, hate speech, or targeting people for who they are.
• Illegal or harmful content: pirated software, books or papers, cracked tools, malware, scams, and instructions meant to hurt people.
• Cheating: requests to do someone’s exam, homework or paid work for them, or leaked exam papers.
• Private information: sharing someone’s phone number, address, documents or messages without their permission.
• Impersonation: pretending to be another person, company or a CrazyEngineers moderator.
• Sexual or graphic content.
• Off-topic or low-effort posts that clutter discussions, such as one-word replies or bumping old threads with nothing new.

How moderation works

Moderators are long-time members and the CrazyEngineers team. Depending on what happened, they may edit a title, move a post, hide or remove content, give a warning, or suspend or ban an account. Posts from new members are checked automatically for spam, and some may wait for a moderator before they appear.

Serious or repeated problems, such as spam campaigns, threats or illegal content, lead to a ban without warning. If you think a decision was wrong, email admin@crazyengineers.com and we’ll review it.

How to report something

• Open the menu on the post, reply or message, choose Report, and tell us what’s wrong. Reports are private: the person you report won’t see who reported them.
• If you can’t use the report button, or the problem is urgent, email admin@crazyengineers.com with a link to the content.
• For copyright complaints or legal concerns, email our grievance officer (details below).

Please don’t reply to spam or argue with someone who is breaking the rules. Report it and let moderators handle it.
