i have chosen computer science at a stage wen i didnt evn know whats in it....i used to love physics a lot and later in here i dont find anythng real in computer science othr than coding and all ...its not like i m blaming cs its just tht i m ignorant of the true colour of cse and dis is making me regret my choice.😕

so dear friends....plz throw me some light on dis branch,i m sure to develop intrst if i find sumthng which i like in dis branch.so plz share ur feelings and whats it tht u like in this branch 😀

Welcome to CE, span 😀 . Relax, as you are not the only one. There are plenty of people who opt for engineering (and specific engineering disciplines) without knowing a thing about it. I don't see any real connection between physics and computer science except that computer science studies can help in advanced physics.

Let me assure you that Computer Science is an interesting field of study and it demands lot of logic and innovative thinking (if you really want to excel in it!). During your 4 year course in CS engineering, you'll get in-depth knowledge of how computing, computer systems, hardware and software work and how it's used. You will have to try & read as much information you can through various sources (CE being vital one) and find out things of your own interest. It could be programming, hardware or networking.

Since we've limited knowledge about you and your interests, I believe above answer will get you started in CS. Keep exploring!

Hello Span, welcome to CE first. 😀

Good answer by Biggie. Here at CE we from different disciplines help each other. I think that you possibly love physics. You can develop it as your hobby if not your field. Any questions relating anything, you can post here in relevant threads. Here we will try to help each other.

    What say friend?

    Wow! Awesome answer Biggie!!!

Yeah span... Nothing in this world is difficult... Remember the quote!!! Never judge a book by its cover... 😀

There are many computer scientists out here. If you like physics, it is really better you go on with your career in game engineering, as it has a real physics engine and it is really closely related to physics and its concepts...
