Microsoft's Xbox SmartGlass Unveiled @ E3 Gaming Expo For Windows, Android and iOS

When we first heard of the term 'SmartGlass' from the E3 Gaming Expo, we thought it could be a competitor to #-Link-Snipped-# or more recently the #-Link-Snipped-# or even possibly a new kind of touch-screen, but Microsoft had something different in mind. It has built a competitor to Airplay. Xbox SmartGlass is an all-new multiscreen entertainment platform for Windows, Android and iOS devices that allows users to play media from their mobile devices on their big-screen television. Moreover, this SmartGlass will act as your mobile companion to enhance gameplay.

So, users with their smartphones and tablets will be able to share the information about the program being watched on their Xbox with the world. So, the game developers can use SmartGlass to allow players to make decisions on a mobile device that then communicates with the Xbox. Here's a video -
