Motorola Xoom 4G ICS Android 4.0.4 Update From Verizon Is Here - Go Upgrade!

Verizon Wireless has released an upgrade to the Android Operating System 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) for the Motorola’s Xoom 4G tablet. This update features a lot of improvements to the tablet's camera. So, now users can ;aunch camera from Lockscreen, can access added effects during video recording, use single motion panorama mode and use added photo editor to the gallery application. Other than that there are Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) improvements, email search has been made available &  email folder ordering is improved. The updated browser has faster rendering, zoom and pan features & at the same time users can save pages for offline reading and for the desktop versions of websites. Verizon also mentions that the text input and spell-check are enhanced.

The Google’s Holo user interface is improved and there are a lot of tweaks to the device features like if you have have a pattern, pin or password lock enabled, pressing the power button locks the device. The app launcher has been redesigned to allow app dragging. And there's lot more left to explore. If you’re a Xoom 4G owner and haven’t yet received the update, you can initiate it manually from the Settings menu at any time and say goodbye to Honeycomb for good.
