Apple Mac Lineup Update Coming At WWDC 12 - Sources

Apple World Wide Developer Conference is scheduled between June 11 - 15 in San Francisco and we've a great news for the Mac fanboys. According to Apple to update most of its Mac lineup and multiple accessories at WWDC - 9to5Mac, the WWDC 2012 may be the biggest simultaneous launch of new Macs in Apple Inc.'s history! We already know that Apple will announce the iOS6, updated version of iCloud storage along with much awaited, iPad-inspired version of OSX - the Mountain Lion. Apple is expected to announce the new hardware for Mac lineup that includes MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Pro.

First the MacBook Pro - the popular Mac business machines (both 11" & 13") are expected to get new configurations. According to MacBook Pro 13-inch spec sheet leaks showing USB 3.0, 1280 x 800 resolution, and Ivy Bridge? - The Verge, a leaked spec sheet shows 13" MacBook Pro with Intel Ivy-Bridge processor, USB 3.0 and 1280 x 800 pixels screen. The MacBook Pro will also feature Intel's HD Graphics 4000 along with Thunderbolt port. MacBook Airs are expected to get the Retina Display treatment which is likely to burn a bigger hole in your pocket. We'd also expect the MacBook Air configuration to upgrade.

iMac lineup awaits hardware upgrade too. In 2011, Apple had launched newer version of the iMacs with Thunderbolt port and faster processors along with upgraded graphics. But iMac industrial design hasn't change much since its debut in 2009. This WWDC may see a new iMac being launched and we've been hearing rumors that iMac will get Retina Display too. Right now, we've no information about Mac Pro or Mac mini overhauls, but the Mac Pro line is due for an upgrade.

We'd be happy to see Apple launching refreshed accessories at WWDC including keyboard, trackpads and AirPorts. We're just a few days away from the event and are already excited. We'll miss Steve Jobs and his iconic keynotes. What about you?
