Karbonn AGNEE 7-inch, Android ICS, 3G Tablet Made In India By Innominds

Karbonn Mobiles, the Indian mobile manufacturer company has teamed up with Innominds to bring a brand new 3G tablet called the Karbonn AGNEE. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, this tablet boasts of a 7-inch screen and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS and will be updraged to Jelly Bean on some unannounced date in the near future. Apart from that, along with a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, users of AGNEE get support for HDMI and 3G HSPA. Though we haven't yet got our hands on the complete tech specs sheet of this tablet, the press release states that the tablet's camera can capture 720p video and that it will be available in 3 variants.

At the launch, the company officials shared that the tablet will be priced at around 10K and the availability of Karbonn AGNEE is scheduled in India for Diwali. It is also being said that the tablet might feature some India-Specific Apps - which will be initially free and subscription-based later. You can check out the complete press release below.

Innominds has successfully designed and developed this indigenous 3G tablet for Karbonn, based on a QRD which utilizes QTI’s Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7x27A processor. Having designed this tablet targeted at the education sector with preloaded applications for education-based content and services that provides a collaborative learning experience for students, Innominds aims to come up with future designs adapted for retail and other industry verticals, leveraging QRD.
