Idea Ultra II And !d 1000 Smartphones Launched With All The Basic Features

Idea, the leading cellular service provider in India, has launched two new smartphones for the consumers in the country - Idea Ultra II and Idea !d 1000. The two smartphones are priced in mid-bugdet and low-budget segments with Ultra II at Rs. 12,500 and !d 1000 at Rs. 5,400. Idea has previously launched its series of smartphones in Aurus series including - IDEA Launches AURUS - Dual SIM 3G Smartphone Priced At Rs. 7190, Idea AURUS 2 - One Of The Cheapest Dual SIM 3G Android Jelly Bean At 6490/-, Idea AURUS 3 Price In India Is Rs. 6990 - Tech Specs Revealed and Xolo Q500 & Idea Aurus 4: Android Jelly Bean Flavoured Handsets For Less Than Rs. 10K. Let us take a look at the features and specs of the two new smartphones one by one.

Idea Ultra II features Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2 operating system and a 14 cm (5.5-inch) QHD IPS Display. Powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core processor, Ultra II sports an 8 megapixel camera on the rear end with support for flash and a 2 megapixel one on the front. This smartphone comes with a 2500 mAh battery which offers a talk time of unto 8 hours and is also loaded with ‘Ultimate Saver Mode’ which helps to reduce battery consumption by temporarily disabling other applications. Among the connectivity options, there's 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and the smartphone comes with G-Sensor, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. A free flip cover is also provided with this smartphone, which comes inside box packaging. Idea !d 1000 smartphone sports a 3-5 inch HVGA TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. Running over a 1 GHz Dual Core processor, !d 1000 has 512 MB RAM, an internal memory of 4GB out of which ~2GB is available for customers to download applications, games, pictures, music etc. Further memory is expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card. The phone runs a slightly old copy of Android with Jelly Bean 4.2.2 operating system. On the rear end, there's a 2 megapixel camera and derives power from a 1300 mAh battery.

Idea !d 1000 supports connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and 3G. One can also set up a Wi-Fi hotspot through this smartphone. The smartphone is pre-loaded with social networking apps like !dea TV, Facebook, Twitter etc.
