generator
in simple loop generator when conductor move in magnetic field ,voltages induced in conductor. i am confused abt the position of the conductor. the maximum voltages induces when conductor is perpendicular with magnetic field but if you look the position in books it seems like parrallel both conductor and field. >>>>

In Fig shows a single turn rectangular copper coil ABCD
moving about its own axis, a magnetic field provided by either
permanent magnets or electromagnets. The two ends of the coil are
joined to two slip-rings or discs a and b which are insulated from
each other and from the central shaft. Two collecting brushes (of
carbon or copper) press against the slip rings. Their function is to
collect the current induced in the coil and to convey it to the
external load resistance R.

sauravgoswamithe post by ernesha is very self-explanatory,whne the conductor rotates then its perpendicular with magnets and thus maximum coltage is induced!!!
