At What Condition Synchronous Motor Act As Synchronous Condenser??
if a synchronous motor is overexcited then it acts as a synchronous condensor.
it is called so because it works like a capacitor viz., giving reactive power back to the circuit when excited.
synchronous generator can also be act as overexcited...then we only talk about syn motor??..similar can also be happen if generator is underexcited...so can syn also be act as syn condenser??...
