    Very succinctly put. On the nose.
    Aren't these what we all really believe in? I have always believed in those eight principles.

    Except the mom bit. One thing that gets my goat is comparisons. My mother's younger brother (my childhood hero) was a mathematics chap. His record for B.A.(Hons) Mathematics established in 1939 (actually on the day I was born) has never been broken. My mom used to push me to emulate him. One reason that I did not do a PhD was this pushing. I wanted to do my own thing in my own way. Of course, I push myself all the time (as I am currently doing on an exercise programme).

    CrazyEngineers came to reality because of a gentle push from my mom; else it'd have remained a concept (or someone else might have started it). A push from her is all I need when I face downtimes.
