I sometimes sit & wonder, if the questions we post here in CE's #-Link-Snipped-# section are way too tough for most of us?

Or shall we start posting simple, no-brainy puzzles? Not a single try for the current puzzle?

I think the biggest no possible is
    (((2^2)^2)^2)

    Hi,

I think the largest number possible using four 2's is
    (2 ^(22 ^2)) = (approx.)4.9 *(10^145)

I guess the following formula should work for largest no possible using x(as no) and y(as no of repititions)

    if (y>2)
    x ^((y-2)times x)^x)
    else
    y times x

    Not really,

    22[sup]2[/sup] < 2 [sup]22[/sup]

So we can still go further.

    Yes Big,

You are true, but what happens when we have too long value in exponential ,we get sometimes infinitely large values. So to avoid this thing,I have not taken 2 22 into account.

    Hi Prakash,

2^(22^2) > 2^222 (if we assume values to infinity are allowed)

    Hi Prakash,

2^(22^2) > 2^222 (if we assume values to infinity are allowed)

    Also
2^(2^22) > 2^(22^2) > 2^222 (if we assume values to infinity are allowed)

I Do Think That There Is Not A Specific Number Made From 2,2,2,2 Cuz 2^2>22^2>2^22>2^222 And Goes On............
