  Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a metered service over a network.

  Before we go ahead, that seems to be the text-bookish definition of cloud computing. If you get the basic idea of what cloud computing is (and it's not a rocket science at all!) your subsequent questions will automatically get answered.

  i would like to give example of dropbox in regards to cloud. Here what we can do is store our data and access it anywhere ,with any device either pc,laptop ,mobile etc.That is possible because of cloud computing.Other examples are gmail,google docs etc. Where our files,mails are located at one place and we can retrieve them as required at any time
