Timex is a leading brand in watches for over a century. The company has jumped on the bandwagon of wearable devices by introducing its own new smartwatch called 'Timex Ironman Move X20'. Checking a little history of the brand will tell you that Timex Ironman is a digital wristwatch first produced by Timex over 30 year back that continues to be made in different styles even today. The same brand is continued in the Move X20 activity tracker, a gadget to worn on the wrist. Compatible with iOS & Android smart phones, this wearable device features 3D accelerometer technology for counting distance, steps as well as calories burned.

Users can set goals through their smartphone and even follow their improvements as they set to achieve them. The technology also lets you keep track of how well you sleep (total time, light vs deep etc.), track and time workouts for real-time pace etc. After installing the Timex Move X20 app on their phone, users can get alerts about caller ID and text messages right on their Move X20. A progress bar on the tracker indicates where you are in regards to your goal settings be it distance, steps or calories burned.

The display of the watch is easy to read and features illuminated characters. It goes without saying that the smartwatch displays time and date.

Introduced in India at a price of Rs. 8,995, the smartwatch is slow to catch up with other activity trackers in the market for the low price competition.
