ThrottleUp - A Holographic 3D Life-Size Engine Built With A Wave Of Your Hand!
GE and its accomplices at BBDO New York have brought together ThrottleUp, an immersive 3-D holographic system that allows users create one of GE’s new energy efficient GEnx jet engines by employing a motion restrained holographic interface.

Neely Lisk, BBDO New York’s interactive producer for the project states that though spreading awareness about the engine was their main aim, they did not want to do it only using 3D. Rather, now the system they've created not only impresses visually, but also sonically and texturally.  As soon as you enter into the custom made chamber, the motion sensor makes you makes you do two rapid motions so that it could sync with your body. Once done, the room darkens, making light for all the fun!
