Sony has now officially launched the Sony Smartwatch 2, the successor to the not-so-popular Sony Smartwatch. An extension of your smartphone, the SmartWatch 2 will show you the notifications that you usually receive on your phone. It also lets you control the music playing on it. When you get a notification, the SmartWatch 2 will gently vibrate on your wrist to let you know. It can be paired up with Android devices using Bluetooth and NFC. Sony expertly calls it "Made For Android" on its offical website. At the event in Delhi, Sony declared the offical price in India to be Rs. 14,990 and said that the gadget is being made available starting today.
