Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Tech Specs & Features

Samsung has revealed Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. This unexpected entry adds to Samsung's hugely popular line of tablets in the 'Galaxy' series. The tablet looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 but with a 7" LCD with 1024 x 600 resolution screen like the first Galaxy Tab ever. The tablet features 1.2 GHz CPU (Dual-Core) which makes sure everything runs smooth and fast. The tablet runs Google Android 3.2 (honeycomb). The tablet will ship in both 16 GB and 32 GB variants. The tablet also offers a decent 2 MP camera on the front for video conferencing and a 3MP rear camera with ability to shoot videos at 720p resolution. Under the hood the Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus offers 1 GB of RAM to make sure that Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz GUI feels nicer.

The tablet offers very good connectivity options as well. You will have quad band GSM along with GPRS & EDGE. It's 3G capable with 21Mbps HSPA which will ensure that you've a smooth browsing and emailing experience. Sammy has also added Bluetooth 3.0 capabilities and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n at both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The new tablet is expected to launch first in Indonesia and Austria in October 2011 followed by international launch.

We do not have the information on the pricing of the tablet yet. The question we've for our audience is that whether 7.0 makes a better buy over any of the existing tablets in Samsung Galaxy series?
