RTMNU Conducting Online Valuation of Papers

RTMNU is soon implementing online valuation system for university papers of Engineering, Pharma and Law students.
The officials say they are doing this for faster declaration of results of examinations.
Answer papers will be scanned and uploaded on computers. Valuers will click the paper on given terminals for checking. The first page which carries roll number and other details will not be visible to the valuer.
Marks will be allotted online and software will do the total and enter it into students' marksheets.
This will speedup the process of revaluation as students can apply for rechecking/revaluation online and they can see their own marksheets sitting at their homes.
I am wondering if it is really feasible to scan thousands of answer sheets. 😨 Online valuation is easy when the exam is conducted online.
