parallel to serial convetor problem
Hi,
I am trying to interface a parallel to serial convertor which is used to transmit a digital video data. Can the parallel to serial convertor chip be operated at 30 frames per second. What additional circuitry may be required if any to do it.
Also I want to transmit signals from the serial port to a receiver where it is converted to parallel data. Is it necessay to encode the data at the transmitting end?

sauravgoswamii dont think so its needed to encode and you can check out chips from TI,ATI they specialises in these applications
