ONLINE EXAMINATION PORTAL USING BIG DATA

Project Abstract / Summary : The growth of the education become versatile and the variety and volume of data in the present world is massive. Even though there are many kind of approaches to tackle this problem, but they are insufficient to handle large amount of Unstructured data. the different kind of unstructured data are audio, video, images etc are generated from variety of sources across the globe. In educational system the usage of unstructured data is a key factor, to handle this large variety of unstructured data we need a separate framework. In this project we are going to propose a framework which handles the 3Vs of big data such as Variety, Volume and velocity. By considering these characteristics in mind, we are going to design an application for online education which provides you a better solution. The techniques we are going to use in this framework is MONGO DB (Big data database) to a handle unstructured data. By incorporating more number of data like (Details of the student and faculty, Online portal test, Online attendance registration etc ). This framework helps to manage more number of data of student and faculty members in the institute . In this online portal you can have more features like knowledge sharing environment , Special examination for faculty members to improve their knowledge and managing administration work

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : • The student and Faculty can have many features like online program such as online attendance test, Knowing about the conferences and workshop etc .

• A separate online test for the faculty members to know their efficiency. The data is collected from the RFID sensors ,these sensor will collect the information about the students and Faculty members.

• For instance the RFID helps for tracking purpose , which helps to track the activities of students and also faculty movements.

• The result of the online test will be visualize by using dashboards (chart, graph) which describes the performance of the students.
