  • Olympus has officially launched the new Stylus SH-1 camera. It features a 16 megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor and 5 Axis image and video stabilisation. Along comes 24x Optical Zoom and 4x Digital Zoom as well. In video mode, the Stylus SH-1 camera features IS performance superior to that of a digital camcorder. With WiFi built right in, the SH-1 can be used along with the Olympus Image Share app so as to share photo and movie files with a press of a button. Shutter-buffs can also control and operate the camera remotely, geotag photos, and apply custom signatures, art filters and stamps. Other than these, on the specs list you'll find TruePic VII image processor and a 3-inch 460k-dot touchscreen LCD.

    If you dig down the features list, there's the intervalometer which can take up to 99 shots, burst mode which captures up to 11 fps, it can record videos at 120fps slow motion at 720p resolution. The video modes include - Photo & Movie Capture, 60p Movie, High-Speed Movie and Time-Lapse Movie which can compress 5 hours of video down to 20 minutes. There's a built-in AF Illuminator for the flash mode.
