Nemo Breaks Default Functionailty & Enables Desktop Icons In Pantheon-DE
By default, in Pantheon Desktop Environment, the desktop icons are disabled. Infact, you can't even right click on desktop in Pantheon-DE.
Recently, I installed Nemo File manager (the one which is shipped in Cinnamon-DE) in Pantheon-DE and what I noticed is that it enables the desktop icons in pantheon.
A bug ? But, a good one.
What else I noticed is, after restart the desktop icons are again gets disabled, to re-enable the desktop icon, all you have to do is to launch the 'Nemo' launcher. Once nemo launcher is launched, the desktop icons in pantheon-DE is again enabled.
It's pretty awesome! Check the screenshot :
PS : I have not enabled the desktop icons with #-Link-Snipped-#
But, Nemo File manager breaks it's default function. Try it by yourself. Just incase if I am first who noticed this, please don't report the bug at launchpad. This is nice useful bug, not annoying one 👍
