If you ever wanted to make free phone calls to Indian mobile phones, your dreams have come true. Enter freephoo - the app has been launched in India today. The app is free on iOS (iphone, iPad) and android platforms. All you need is a 3G or a Wi-Fi network to make calls. freephoo co-founder Pandelis Eliopoulo said that India is an important market for the company. The company expects Indian users to be delighted by the easy to use app. The best part of the app is that users can use their existing mobile numbers to make calls and receive calls from other freephoo users. However, the only catch is that the user you're calling must have the freephoo app installed on their mobile or tablet. freephoo also offers a premium service that will let you call any mobile or landline number in the world at a very small fee.

Installing the app:

Installation of the app is quite easy. Visit #-Link-Snipped-# from your mobile web browser and the website will automatically redirect you to the app download page. The company says that the audio quality of the phone calls offered by the service is superb. With this app installed on your iPad or Android phone, you can quickly call your facebook and linkedin contacts as the service is integrated with both social networking platforms. What's missing is the blackberry app, which is expected soon.

Thanks for sharing. Will give them a try for sure. Just wondering how different are they from Skype for Android.
