Intel Nehalem (microarchitecture) - Discussions

I might be too late, but I've been hearing a lot about Intel Nehalem architecture recently.

Can anyone point out difference between Penryn & Nehalem? How does it improve overall processing capabilities of the processor?

The big difference is that Nehalem has twice better performance than Penryn on the same power usage.

the main answer in How they did is increasing transistors they got 700 millions on the same chip, either than that I've to read the spec first 😀
