HTC 10 evo: A Flagship That Tries Too Hard And Costs Rs. 48990

The HTC 10 series has always been the flagship series from the Taiwanese company. This time they have upped the game and launched the new HTC 10 evo in India which has seen an intense marketing campaign around the world. As HTC loses the fight from Vivo and Oppo in the mid-range segment it has set its eyes on the premium high-end segment with the HTC 10 evo. The HTC 10 evo takes ahead the idea from the HTC and brings you the best of quality. The HTC 10 evo has a full metal unibody that is water and dust resistant. It is IP57 certified which means it can withstand light drizzle with ease. The 5.5inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution display is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a pixel density of 534ppi.

One of the highlights of the HTC 10 evo is the presence of HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio where the USB Type C earphones analyse the inner shape of your ears to deliver personalised audio tuned to your hearing. The HTC 10 evo is also a computing powerhouse as it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with a 2.0GHz octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 32GB and you can use microSD cards of up to 2TB to expand the storage. Since HTC has always faced flak from the public for its lacklustre cameras, the company has put in extra effort on the HTC 10 evo. You find a 16MP PDAF BSI sensor on the rear that is coupled with dual LED flash and Optical Image Stabilisation. You can take RAW images with the camera and record 4K resolution videos too. The front camera has a resolution of 8MP and comes with a BSI sensor and for the first time selfie panorama to capture everyone in a single frame.

The HTC 10 evo is powered by a 3200mAh battery. The HTC 10 evo supports Quick Charge 2.0 and offers talk time of 23 hours and standby time of 20days. The HTC 10 evo has a built-in fingerprint sensor that sits pretty on the home button for your convenience.
