Google+ Local Replaces Google Places; Zagat Integration Comes Along
Google+ Local is a new feature addition #-Link-Snipped-#Â on Google+ for replacing Google Places and integrating Zagat reviews for most of the places. Zagat has earned its name as a trusted and well recognised review guide brand for well over thirty years and has been a part of Google since last September. Now reviews and information from Zagat will be integrated in your search and maps across Google applications.

The new Local tab will appear on your Google+ page from where you can search for a particular place and information about the search will be accompanied by Zagat 30 point score. It will also let Google+ users add reviews and photos about the place. All these information will not only be available on Google+ but also on regular searches, Maps and even on your Google Maps on Android devices. Support for iOS they say is coming soon.
By integrating all these into one place, users will be able to find out about the opinion from people in their circles in the fore front. The Google+ Local will receive updates in the months to come and increase functionality with added features. Will this addition be a hit or miss? or Google is messing up too much with Google+? Have your say in the comments.
