GDrive Aka Google Drive Coming Soon. With Native Syncing Software, Maybe

Google Drive aka GDrive is expected to launch very soon. In the past, geeks around the world have spotted the presence of Gdrive through code in Chromium browser. However very recently, Mr. Johannes Wigand who's a social media consultant spotted GDrive in action at a Google sponsored event. Take a look at following photo clicked by Johannes -

Google Docs is one of the Google service that can be used as an online storage for documents. Lot of geeks already use Google docs for storing the files beyond the regular documents. Google of course didn't want to call 'docs' as 'Google Drive'. Of course, Google Drive is being used by Google employees internally for long time now. TechCrunch mentions that GDrive will be released with a native sync software for synchronizing files across desktops and mobiles. Currently Dropbox is the service that lets you do this; so with Google entering in this domain, it will be interesting to watch how Dropbox responds.

We may expect the Google Drive service to be available at drive.google.com and it could be just Google Docs re-branded with few additional features. We also expect that the drive will sync with Gmail, Docs and other Google services. While we gather more information about Google Drive for you; do let us know your comments about GDrive. Would you leave Dropbox for Google Drive?
