Feedback Required: Just one 'News' section or more categorisation?

Quick Question: Do you think we should have one 'Engineering & Technology News' section like we have present or categorise news in various sections (like we used to do before)?

If we decide on later; we'll have to strike a balance between news items and discussion threads so that our discussions sections don't look like all flooded with news.

Or we may continue with the way things are - everything 'news' goes into News section.

We'll also let our users contribute news items, provided they are written in original words.
