Facebook App Center Goes Live. Asks Money For Apps.

While we watch the world gradually migrate to 'apps' leaving behind the traditional Web, #-Link-Snipped-# has taken a step ahead to launch the 'Facebook App Center'. Currently in 'beta'; which means you may find bugs and things not working as they should, the App Center is Facebook's mechanism of asking money for the Apps. The world's largest social network, with close to a billion users is no stranger to web-apps, but until now it used to ask money for in-app purchases and through freemium model where you get basic version of the web-app free and unlock the premium features after paying for them.

We also learn that Facebook will soon have its own shopping portal as well which would magically tell you what you should buy based on your social profile and what your friends recommend. Developers interested in joining the beta program may head over to #-Link-Snipped-#.
