i think due to brittleness property of glass it is less elastic. suggest me the right0

If you go by the definition of elasticity, then you will come to know that the material which opposes deformation is more elastic.
You may try by pulling both glass and steel from two ends. You will know it instantly that glass breaks while the steel rod does not.
(Though you cannot perform this experiment manually. You will have to take the help of a machine because the force required is very huge.)
The modulus of elasticity of steel is 2*10^9 N/mm2 which is greater than glass (69*10^9 N/m2)
