Coolpad Note 3 Plus: Full HD Display, Octa-Core Processor & Android Lollipop For Rs. 8999

Considering the success of the recently launched Coolpad Note 3 'Made-In-India' Smartphone Launched Via Amazon For Rs. 8,499 it was inevitable that the company would launch the successor of the smartphone in the Indian markets. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus was launched today. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus features some impressive specs considering its affordable price tag of Rs. 8999. Just like the other Coolpad smartphones in the Indian market the Coolpad Note 3 Plus shall be sold exclusively on Amazon India website from May 13th. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus starts things off surprisingly well with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display that is covered with an unnamed scratch resistant glass.

Underneath the hood of the Coolpad Note 3 Plus we get a MediaTek MT6753 SoC, the same famous 64-bit chipset that was seen recently on its predecessor, #-Link-Snipped-# and the upcoming #-Link-Snipped-#. Just to reiterate the MediaTek MT6753 SoC houses a 64bit ARM Cortex-A53 octa-core CPU operating at 1.5GHz, an ARM Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM just like on the #-Link-Snipped-#. All this firepower runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) that has been doused in Cool UI 6.0. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus is a dual-SIM LTE enabled smartphone that features a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

When it comes to the cameras on the Coolpad Note 3 Plus we have a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The internal memory of the Coolpad Note 3 Plus stands at 16GB and you do get the option of adding microSD cards of up to 32GB in it. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB along with GPS navigation. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus measures 151.9x77x9.3mm and weighs 168grams. The smartphone will be sold in Champange White and Gold colour variants. By now you would have realised that the Coolpad Note 3 Plus is just a Coolpad Note 3 with a larger screen.
