and i have worked on projects
JAVA---> Network uploader and downloader ( it worked by monitoring a website and finding if any updates are available on that website for any required application..
also it was possible to upload the data on a website that allowed to do so directly by opening the application )

ASP.Net using c#-----> working currently on website of a organisation that provides training to engg people during vacations and services like consultancy, placemnts and all..the dynamic modules are ONLINE TESTING, ONLINE APPLICATION FORMS, REQUESTING A QUOTE , <organisation>FORUM!!!

then you can have those traditional ones like shopping wesites and all!!
