can i pursue MS in networking fields ?

hi ... iam ravi confused to choose IT JOB OR NETWORKING JOBS iam from (ECE) background and i got placed in private telecommunication company please suggest me how to become an network administartor ?
and i listened less job oopurtinites for network admins is it true 1 FOR COMPANY
and also highly paid jobs in USA ?
