Blackberry Services Down. Server Issues All Over World! (Update: RIM, RIM UK Confirms)
The dreaded Blackberry server issue seems to be conquering the world. The latest reports indicate that the initial failure in Europe and Middle-East has spread over other parts of the world as well. Engadget #-Link-Snipped-# that the services are unavailable in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Brazil and Chile and Canada is latest on the list. There are reports that the Blackberry users in US are also facing problems. RIM sure has a lot of work to do. We request you to comment whether you are able to use Blackberry Services and the part of the world you're currently in. We'll keep you updated about latest developments in the RIM world, so stay tuned for updates. Subscribers without their own BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) are one of those most affected by this service failure. We do not know the exact nature of the problem yet. Update: Research In Motion (The company behind Blackberry) has confirmed the service outage. They've posted following updates on their official news pages -

BlackBerry subscribers in the Americas may be experiencing intermittent service delays this morning. We are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and we apologize to our customers for any inconvenience. We will provide a further update as soon as more information is available. (Check source below)

We know that many of you are still experiencing service problems. The resolution of this service issue is our Number One priority right now and we are working night and day to restore all BlackBerry services to normal levels. We will continue to keep this page updated. (Check source below)
