Best book for basic electronics ?

I have some basics in electronics but when it comes to apply them I am feeling difficult, Could anyone suggest me the best basic book of electronics so that i can easily grasp and implement in applications and get new ideas through it.

    I have used Book Principles of Basic Electronics by V.K.Mehta !!
    Very simple language and nice sketches. 😀
