Adobe’s PhotoApp - ‘Revel’ Launched On Android
Adobe has made its Revel photo-app available on Android which allows users to share and edit photos on their devices. The photo-editing app is meant for sharing, storing and managing photos and videos. While announcing Revelâs availability on Android, Adobe said in a blog post that this app will allow users to create albums, share photos and videos in galleries or via social media and edit pictures, add captions and comments to the photos. Adobe Revel for Android will let users sync photos and videos across mobile devices and PCs.
Photo editing includes basic options such as cropping, exposure, filters, and contrast adjustments. These options which are also present in Photoshop Express are integrated with the Revel app. In order to allow users to upload photos to Revel's cloud and access the edited photos on the go, Revel is integrated with the Mac and Windows applications Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12. Files can also be uploaded to Revel from GroupPix, Lightroom, Photoshop Express, VideoBite and iPhoto. This app also allows users to create groups in order to share certain pictures only with some of their friends or family. Moreover, users will also be able to control who can add, view, organize, and edit the images in such a group. Images and videos are stored in Adobeâs cloud and can be accessed via Revel or a browser. Revel facilitates users to sign in with Adobe ID and also offers Google+ and Facebook login options, perhaps to lower the barriers. Besides Android, the app is also available on iOS, Mac and Windows 8.

Initially, Revel is free for first month with unlimited imports after which users are limited up to 50 photos and videos per month. Also, a subscription version of this app is available for US$5.99 a month or $59.99 a year with unlimited imports. For professionals, Revel might be worth a look while if you are not a professional, free version might be just enough.
