Vollebak's new Carbon Algae T-Shirt promises to lock CO2 in the atmosphere for 100 years! How? The answer is black algae ink. The company has created a new ink from black algae waste to print its t-shirts. This high-tech t-shirt looks completely normal - but the company promises that it will biodegrade in about 12 weeks if you put it in soil. Vollebak's trying to eliminate the dependance on Carbon black - which is hazardous to humans and nature; but commonly used to create black pigment used in cloth printing.
