YAS-101 - A 7.1 Channel Soundbar From Yamaha
Yamaha today announced its flagship 7.1 channel Front Sound System built on a 60-watt subwoofer. The Yamaha YAS-101 gives an unmatched surround sound performance for just $299.95. It is built with a dual-driver speaker design with some aesthetic styling and a glossy piano black finish to add on to the living quotient of the room.

The YAS-101 delivers a highly accurate 7.1 channel surround because of Yamaha's exclusive technology, the Air Surround Extreme. This immerses the listener into the sound and music with precise and accurate positioning along with its support for DTS and Dolby Digital sound formats. Yamaha's UniVolume technology reduces the sudden unsettling in volume during commercials for uniform sound levels.
The YAS-101 gives an incredible audio experience with simple and flexible installation options. The YAS-101 can be operated with the TV remote and other home theatre remotes along with the supplied remote.
The YAS-101 can be placed anywhere in the room but the best experience is observed while placed in front of the TV. It's slim profile adds to the advantage of not blocking the picture of the TV. The YAS-101 has unique solution that offers the IR codes of the remote to pass through the TV while placed in front of it.
