Regional smartphone manufacturer WickedLeak has put up its new smartphone, the Wammy Passion X for sale on its official online store for Rs. 19,990. The Wammy Passion X tries to bring high-end specs at an affordable price. The highlight of this smartphone is its 1.7GHz true octa-core MediaTek processor that promises faster processing. Coupled with 2GB of RAM it makes multi-tasking a breeze. The 5-inch display also manages to impress since it has a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is protected by a Dragon Trail Glass.

The company claims that the Wammy Passion X is the world’s first true hydrophobic smartphone as it protected by AquaProtect technology that manages to repel not just water but other liquids like orange juice, coffee, Gatorade and soft drinks even during prolonged submersion. Have a look at the video below that shows the smartphone being drowned in the aforementioned liquids.

In terms of photography, the Wammy Passion X manages to tick the box when it comes to megapixels figure. On the rear you find a 13 MP BSI sensor with flash that is also able to record Full HD videos. The front 5MP sensor will also be able to please ‘selfie’ enthusiasts. While the huge megapixels might seem tempting, we should remind our readers that it is the type of the lens that matters the most and not the megapixels figure. The Dual-SIM handset offers you the regular list of connectivity options like Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth. The smartphone offers more than enough storage with 16GB of internal and 32GB of external memory with help of microSD cards. The Android Jelly Bean handset is powered by rather paltry 2500mAh which means that you would have to take frequent trips to the socket.
