Vodafone Booster Brolly = Umbrella + Charger + Signal Booster

Voda-brella is what Dr. Kenneth Tong, the creator of Vodafone's Booster Brolly wanted to call the umbrella that doubles as a mobile charger and triples as a mobile network signal booster. The booster brolly is a clever combination of high gain mobile antenna with a mobile charger that uses solar energy to charge mobile phone via USB. Dr. Tong and his team of PhD students at UCL - London's Global University stitched solar panels to the canopy of the umbrella. The 12x2 volt panels generate enough power from Sun rays to charge a mobile phone. The team says that the mobile can be charged within three hours with this umbrella.

Vodafone's network may not follow you everywhere; but this umbrella can help catch the weak signals for you. The Booster Brolly uses a combination of high-gain antenna and low-power signal repeater to gather signals from the nearest possible Vodafone tower. With all the gadgets fitted, the Booster Brolly weighs only 800 grams. Check out Vodafone UK's #-Link-Snipped-# for more insights on the Booster Brolly.
