The engineers at  Ikei Laboratory in Tokyo, Japan want you to experience how Usain Bolt felt while running his 100m record breaking sprint, via a technology called 'Virtual Body'. The technology simulates 5 senses with aid of audio, video footages in addition with simulation of smell & wind. The technology basically lets you have a vicarious experience - as if you're experiencing a situation experienced by another individual.

The whole setup comprises of 3D monitor, headphones, fans to create sense of breeze along with spread scents. You get to sit in a rocking chair with foot pedals. Everything works in sync to recreate the scene for you. Check out the video below that shows you how it feels to be inside the virtual body.
