Using a mobile phone as a microcontroller to make a simple navigator..

hey everyone,
I would be glad if anyone can help me out in how to use a mobile to make a navigator. I want its number keys(of the phone)to instruct it to move in respective directions.
Can we use a mobile as a microcontoller for some other purposes also?
please reply...

    Hello,
You can use the number keys for navigation.
You would need a DTMF decoder,so that each specific key press can give some sort of navigation.
