The camera will be a successor  to previous DSLR D3S. As it is expected from Nikon products, this camera also has some really great features, including 16.2 megapixel 36*23.9 mm CMOS sensor. This camera can capture up to 10 shots per second (11 if it’s locked). It has a 3.2-inch, 920k dot LCD. Nikon claims D4 has one of the most sophisticated focusing system with 51 focus point in a single shot. The sensor can detect up to 16 faces in a frame, exposing each one properly.  It can also shoot videos in two modes - 1080p at 30fps or 720p at 60fps. For audio capture, you have “30 steps” of audio adjustments to give you a clear sound. The camera also has manual controls for almost all the features, so the Pros can customize it according to their need. The price of the product is set just $6000.

The most direct competitor of this DSLR D4 is Canon EOS-1D X, which was announced in October last year. With CES coming close, it would be interesting to see which one of these would be able to impress customers more.
